SCISSOR STYLE ROBOTIC SPOT WELDING GUNS

Scissor Type Gun - Standard

The PW scissor type robot guns are designed to allow maximum flexibility with greatest ease of maintenance. As with all guns, all the ISO standard transformers can be used and the guns are designed to operate on a standard 5 bar factory air supply. The guns are fully self-equalising and are normally fitted with 3 proximity detectors for electrode position feedback. Electrode arms are available up to 600mm in length, again in a wide variety of standard and special designs.

Scissor Type Gun - In Line Type

There is often a need for a gun with a slim profile, for access close to large components or fixtures. This version places the weld transformer in line with the gun, keeping the width of the gun to a minimum. The normal variety of robot mounting flanges is available. PW also manufacture versions of the scissor guns for Left Hand / Right Hand use, where the transformer bulk is placed on opposite sides of the guns. This allows use close to a component or fixture. All guns can be fitted with gun change systems and wrist protection devices.
